The first five years of a child's life are fundamentally important. They are the foundation that shapes children's future health, happiness, growth, development and learning achievement at school, in the family, community, and in life in general.
We ensure all our children have the same opportunities to help them grow in their development.
At Locking Preschool we focus intensely on the EYFS (Early years foundation stage) and the importance of the COEL (Characteristics of effective learning). The children have the opportunity to explore, learn and enjoy activities that all of the team work on and focus on the children’s interest.

The children have access to activities to support their physical development, Personal social and emotional, communication and language, Mathematics, Literacy, understanding of the world and Expressive arts and design.
